Karen supports innovative providers working on solutions to improve consumer financial health. As a Director on the Program team, she manages relationships with Financial Health Network member organizations, conducts consumer and industry research, and advises companies on strategy and innovative business model design to enhance the financial health of key constituents. Karen is driven by the opportunity for businesses to improve their profitable growth performance by improving the financial health of their customers and employees. She is a strong proponent of the business case for financial health. Karen brings over 20 years of strategy consulting experience advising clients on consumer-driven growth strategies and innovation. Prior to joining the Financial Health Network, she was a Director at Novantas, where she led marketing, new product and proposition initiatives for leading financial services companies. Previously, she led growth strategy engagements for clients across sectors as a leader at Nexus Advisors, The Cambridge Group and Booz & Co. She holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College with a BA in Economics. She lives in Chicago with her partner Steve, his daughter Maddy, and their dog Cooper. They are avid travelers and enjoy Chicago’s museums and lakefront.
