With a career spanning housing development, strategic philanthropy, and academic leadership, Donell is passionate about building vibrant, rooted communities. He brings extensive experience developing rehousing models, fostering agency and private partnerships, and leading community-driven initiatives in historic Atlanta neighborhoods like Sweet Auburn and South Atlanta, and around the country.

Donell’s expertise in DEI/Racial Equity Consulting, strategic leadership development, and community engagement makes him a sought-after speaker. He is dedicated to empowering communities through asset mapping, addressing social determinants of health, and strategic resource development. Donell resides in Sweet Auburn with his wife, Dr. Evie, their daughter Hannah Grace, and their Goldendoodle, Sugar.
