Meg Parker Young
As Vice President, Solutions and Innovation, Meg enables major financial services and financial technology companies to create products and strategies that drive long-term business value while improving people’s financial lives. Fueled by the belief that our financial system can be built to serve everyone, Meg was drawn to the Financial Health Network’s mission and decades of experience leading this work.
Meg leads a team of experts who advise on financial health strategy, product development, and performance management to the financial services industry and related partners. She is committed to responsibly leveraging the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence, to unlock innovation that advances financial stability, dignity, and opportunity for all.
Prior to joining the Financial Health Network in 2026, Meg spent 20 years working to create equitable access to financial systems across geographies, sectors, and communities. While serving as Vice President, Finance at Fannie Mae, she architected the impact strategy for the organization’s $4.2 trillion mortgage portfolio, working to connect capital markets to consumer financial outcomes. Meg also led global impact strategy development at Thomson Reuters, with a focus on its financial services, tax and accounting, legal, and journalism portfolios, and oversaw data and solutions development initiatives at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Meg earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in psychology from Middlebury College. She serves on the board of directors for FinAbility, a survivor-centered financial health organization. She is also a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado and a contributing author to Environmental Finance. Meg is a First Mover Fellow at the Aspen Institute and was honored by the United Nations Global Compact for her leadership in business accountability and Transparency.
