The Financial Health Network does not sell or rent your Personal Information. We do not disclose your Personal Information except as described in this Policy or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law. We may disclose your Personal Information in the following circumstances:

• To trusted service providers, contractors, consultants, and other vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, event management, payment processing, data analytics, survey administration, customer support, communications, email distribution, and technology services. • To conduct surveys, research, and data analysis, including with research partners or service providers acting on our behalf.

Account Creation for the Financial Health Network Site

You are not required to create an account to access the publicly available portions of our Site. However, certain tools, resources, datasets, services, or other features may require you to create an account or otherwise provide Personal Information. Where an account or registration is required, we will collect and use your Personal Information as described in this Policy.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights regarding their Personal Information under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and similar laws in other states. Right to Know / Access. Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or level of quality of goods or services as a result of exercising your rights.

Authorized Agents. Depending on your state, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. An authorized agent must provide proof of written authorization to act on your behalf, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us.

We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law, generally within 45 days of receipt. If we require additional time, we will inform you of the reason and the extension period (up to an additional 45 days). The exercise of these rights is free of charge, although we may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests as permitted by applicable law.

Verification. When you submit a request, we may need to verify your identity before processing it. We may ask you to provide information that matches information we have on file about you. If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny or limit the scope of your request as permitted by applicable law.

Appeal Process. If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal that decision by contacting us at privacy@finhealthnetwork.org with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.” We will respond to your appeal within the timeframe required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact your state attorney general or applicable regulatory authority.

Nevada residents may submit requests regarding their rights under Nevada law by contacting us at privacy@finhealthnetwork.org. Financial Health Network does not currently sell covered information in a manner that triggers Nevada’s statutory opt-out requirements.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) that can send a signal to the websites you visit indicating your opt-out preference. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting as required by applicable law. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret other “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals, our Site may not respond to all browser DNT signals at this time. Instead, you can use the range of tools described in this Policy to control data collection and use.

Your EEA and United Kingdom Privacy Rights

Exercising these rights is generally free of charge. Where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly because it is repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act, as permitted by applicable law.

Our Site may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. Financial Health Network does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, security, or operation of those third-party websites or services. When you follow a link to a third-party website or service, your use of that website or service will be governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policy. Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and Financial Health Network does not knowingly collect Personal Information online from children under 13. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, although we take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
