Claudia Holt spent many years thinking that personal finance should be left to those with accounting degrees. When she started working at Prepare + Prosper 8 years ago as a seasonal Financial Manager, she had never checked her credit report. Since then she has worked as a Financial Coach and VITA Manager at EMERGE Community Development and is now the Financial Capability Manager at Prepare + Prosper, overseeing their volunteer-based financial coaching program. She has finally grown into the kind of full-fledged money nerd that talks to people about credit scores at parties.
