Nancy Castillo
Vice President
As the Vice President of Operations, Nancy facilitates organization-wide collaboration and accountability to run a financially and operationally healthy and impactful organization. She leads the organization through the annual calendar and provides teams with processes, frameworks, parameters, and strategies to help them plan and manage their business lines and teams.
Prior to this role, Nancy orchestrated excellence in delivery by ensuring high quality program operations and performance on the Program Team, a cross-functional team that drives the Financial Heath Network’s thought leadership, research, policy, consulting services, and innovation to achieve the organization’s mission. During her tenure at the Financial Health Network, Nancy also advised financial services providers on consumer financial health strategies, served as the product manager for FinX and led the development and implementation of the U.S. Financial Diaries study.
Nancy brings to the Financial Health Network a rich perspective on migrant transnational economic activities across the United States and various countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She was an Associate for the Remittances and Development program at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, DC; a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in Pittsburgh, PA; and a Fulbright Scholar in Ecuador.
When not at the Financial Health Network, Nancy is practicing mindfulness and meditation, creating wall designs out of washi tape, paddleboarding on Lake Michigan, or spending time with her family. She received her B.A. in political studies and Latin American studies from Pitzer College, a member of The Claremont Colleges.
