Adrian is the Chief Executive Officer at The Workers Lab, which gives new ideas about
increasing worker power a chance to succeed and flourish. He joined the lab in 2017 as its
Managing Director. In that role, he oversaw the formation of its non-profit corporation and
doubled the budget and staff.
Prior to the lab, Adrian was an Associate at Civitas Public Affairs Group. Adrian also served as
the speechwriter to U.S. Secretary of Labor, Hilda L. Solis. He began his political career as a
field organizer on Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
Before politics and government, Adrian worked for Latino entertainment executive, Moctesuma
Esparza. He holds a degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach
and grew up in East Los Angeles.
