Michelle Murray is the founder of Living Wage For US, a U.S. based national living wage certification system launched November 2021. Her experience extends beyond U.S. borders and is global in nature, having focused on living wage for the last decade as coordinator of the Global Living Wage Coalition (GLWC), founder and CEO of On-Up LLC, and Director of Operations for SAI, home of the SA8000 standard. Her experience provides deep understanding of the issues faced in achieving living wage payment and allows her to create workable solutions to make living wage beneficial for workers, for employers, for communities, and for US.
