Tamara Cook
Tamara Cook is the Director of the Office of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA). She leads the UN team that supports the advocacy of H. M. Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, working with private and public-sector partners to build a financial system that helps people meet their daily needs, strengthen resilience, invest in their futures, and build long-term prosperity and confidence. With three decades of experience, she has also worked with the Financial Sector Deepening Kenya, Gates Foundation, CGAP, and Equity Bank. She holds degrees from INSEAD and George Washington University.
