Ashley Bakelmun

Ashley manages RW Ventures, LLC, an economic development firm specializing in technical analysis of urban assets and markets, and in creating the products and enterprises necessary to inclusively grow urban and regional economies. RW Ventures is a partner to The Chicago TREND Corporation (“TREND”) – a social enterprise with a mission to catalyze and accelerate strategic commercial development that strengthens low- and moderate-income urban neighborhoods, with a particular focus on communities of color. Ashley supports TREND with market analysis studies and thought partnership, working towards a goal of democratizing ownership.
