
Kelly Emery
Kelly is the Chief Operating Officer at the Financial Health Network, leading the organization’s Client Success, Business Development, Finance, Operations, and Talent teams. Her responsibilities include driving growth by aligning internal operations with strategic and business objectives, enhancing client experiences, and building partnerships. Her passion for building high-performing teams and developing future leaders, combined with her ability to translate vision into results, positions her to drive the organization’s long-term impact.
Prior to joining the Financial Health Network, Kelly served as the Chief Operating Officer at Heartland Alliance and as a Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Kent State University and her MBA from DePaul University. She also completed the Women’s Senior Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Outside of work, Kelly serves as the chair of the Equality Illinois Institute board and a director on the Equality Illinois board, nonprofits dedicated to advancing social justice and equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ community. She enjoys exploring Chicago’s cultural richness and dining in its diverse neighborhoods.
