Prior to joining Percapita in March 2020, brunson was at Morgan Stanley for three years, where he advised hedge funds, managed and mentored many, and co-founded a dope cohort responsible for curating culturally diverse and intentionally inclusive spaces at the firm.

brunson is a vocalist, pianist, poet, and singer/songwriter. He has written, recorded, and toured his debut EP with his indie r&b duo, bluesoul, across the U.S. and abroad.

Uplifting communities of color is foundational to brunson’s intrinsic motivation, and he is the Co-Founder of HARP, an anti-racist healing collective.

brunson holds a BS in Economics from Duke University.
