Dr. Brandy Kelly Pryor’s scholarly work focuses on the intersections of health, equity, and social impact.
Currently serving as The Humana Foundation’s Senior Director of Programs she directs the Foundation’s
health equity research and strategy for $65 million investments. Before joining the Foundation, Dr. Kelly
Pryor was Louisville Metro’s Center for Health Equity (CHE) director, and was the first director jointly
appointed with the University Louisville’s School of Public Health and Information, where she continues
to teach graduate classes. As CHE director, she spearheaded the 2017 Health Equity Report which had a
focus on income as a root cause to health.
