Evelyn Stark is a Managing Director at ideas42, leading the Financial Health portfolio. With her team, she is focused on developing behaviorally informed solutions that enable people with low incomes in the United States and globally to make the financial decisions that allow them to achieve their goals.

Evelyn spent 20 years as a funder at USAID, Gates Foundation, and MetLife Foundation, where she developed and led the $200 million financial health strategy. She began her career in commercial real estate special assets. Evelyn moved to Uganda to work in the then-nascent microfinance sector, focused on market research and product development before returning to the US.
