Rodney Bolden is a Vice President, Field Engagement Specialist at Morgan Stanley. In this role, works with Corporate Directors and Financial Advisors to introduce Morgan Stanley’s Financial Wellness offerings to their institutional clients.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Rodney was Regional Team Leader for Key’s Bank’s Financial Wellness Program. As Regional Team Leader, Rodney managed a team of relationship managers that were responsible for selling Key’s Workplace Financial Wellness solutions to C-Suite executives at Fortune 500 companies, not-for-profit organizations and senior government officials of major municipal agencies. Additionally, while at Key, Rodney created and facilitated new hire training classes for Workplace Financial Wellness Relationship Managers. He also advised and collaborated with KeyBank’s Marketing Team on the development of new Financial Education presentation materials
Over 30 years ago, Rodney began his career in Financial Services as a financial advisor at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. In his career, Rodney has held sales and relationship management roles in Private Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking and Health Insurance at Lehman Brothers, JPMorgan Chase and Anthem.
Rodney has served as a financial education consultant for municipal entities like the New York City Housing Authority, the New York City Office of Financial Empowerment, Ulster County Office of Employment and Training and the Orange County Youth Bureau on the formulation of financial literacy materials for their respective constituencies. He has also worked with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to provide advice and direction on the implementation of a comprehensive Financial Literacy curriculum.
Lastly, Rodney is a Certified Financial Educator®, Certified Associate in Project Management® and an Accredited Financial Counselor®.
