Amon Anderson

Amon co-founded and co-leads Acumen America, a non-profit investment platform backing entrepreneurs tackling poverty across the US. Launched in 2015, Acumen America has invested in +40 companies solving problems of health, wealth and work for low-income Americans. Prior Acumen America, Amon spent a decade in impact investing roles across New York, Nairobi and Addis Ababa.

Amon holds a bachelor’s with Highest Honors from the UNC Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and an MBA from the Stanford GSB, where he received the Frances & Arjay Miller Fellowship in Social Innovation and the Miller Social Change Leadership Award.
