Shuman leads JPMorgan Chase’s Impact Finance and Advisory (IFA) team.  IFA offers capital tools and advisory solutions to advance the Firm’s social impact objectives. The team invests a dedicated pool of JPMorgan Chase’s capital to help fill the gap between philanthropic and traditional capital by lending to, investing in, and advising financial intermediaries, funds, and companies that advance inclusive and sustainable growth.

He was previously an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan, and earlier in his career, he held roles in strategy and product management at Bank of America.  Shuman holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and an MBA from Cornell University, where he was a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow.
