Racheal oversees partnerships and operations to help make Kaiser Permanente served communities the healthiest in the nation. Previously, Racheal led Kaiser Permanente’s philanthropic strategy to support economic opportunity as a super determinant of health. In 2018, she helped found the Thriving Communities Fund, Kaiser Permanente’s $400M investment commitment to improve housing security crises and equitable community development in Kaiser Permanente served communities. Racheal has also led other cross-functional partnerships to support hiring, purchasing, and building for positive community impact.

Racheal is also a globally recognized advocate for the role of business in women’s empowerment. While at BSR, she directed and scaled HERproject, a global women’s empowerment initiative. HERproject works with over 300,000 women in global supply chains – in factories, flower farms, textile mills, and tea plantations – to improve their knowledge, access, and confidence vis-à-vis their health, financial future, and freedom from gender-based-violence.

Racheal holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree with honors from the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in political science and history.
