Peter Jacobs

Peter Jacobs became Chief Executive Officer of ING Bank Netherlands on April 1 2023. ING Bank Netherlands serves around 8 million customers, across Retail Banking, Private Banking and Business Banking.

Prior to re-joining ING Peter Jacobs was a senior partner at McKinsey & Company leading the Technology practice for its European Banking practice. Throughout his consulting years he has served banks in Europe, North America and Asia and was primarily focused on digital business building, technology, strategy, and enterprise operating model
transformations. Prior to joining McKinsey, Peter Jacobs was Chief Information Officer of ING Bank Netherlands.

Peter Jacobs holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Delft University of Technology. He is married to Marieke and has three children.
