Michael Yu

Michael has been a part of the Data Services team at Mastercard since 2013. He leads the global Crypto Practice, which provides advisory solutions to Mastercard clients that are exploring blockchain, crypto, and emerging digital asset use cases including NFTs and metaverse.

Michael specializes in digital and emerging payments, including digital banking and digital payment technologies such as tokenization, digital wallets, UX, ACH other payment rails.

Michael has 15+ years of consulting experience across various industries (Financial Services, Telecom & Media, Healthcare,
Energy & Resources). Prior to joining Mastercard, Michael was part of Deloitte’s Consulting practice and focused on supply chain and payments consulting.

Michael holds a BSc. in Computer Science from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and currently resides in New York City.
