Michael Umlauf

Michael leads Credit Data Science & Analytics at TransUnion, providing a wide range of analytic services to our global financial services and insurance customers, including analytic consulting, modeling, and AI/model governance. His team collaborates closely with matrix partners to cultivate and commercialize new capabilities based on emerging machine learning and artificial intelligence methods.

Michael holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MS in Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley. He serves on the Advisory Board for Northwestern University’s Machine Learning and Data Science Program and on the Board of VantageScore Solutions, LLC.
