Michael has been a proud member of ARC since 2014 – the same year he earned his release from prison after serving close to 18 years. He was incarcerated at the age of 15 and treated as an adult with a 15-to-life sentence. Policy saved his life and allowed him to prove he wasn’t that kid anymore. 

Michael has worked as a case manager at the Center for Juvenile and Criminal Justice, obtained a B.A. in political science, and served as the National Director at #cut50 before returning to the Anti-Recidivism Coalition as the Director of Advocacy to help expand the mission of ARC.
