
Michael Martino
Michael Martino is executive vice president and head of Diverse Customer
Segments for Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) at Wells Fargo.
In his role, Michael leads strategy for CSBB diverse customer segments,
leveraging customer feedback, data, analytics, and insights to understand and meet the needs of diverse customers. He also leads the Banking Inclusion
Initiative (BII), Wells Fargo’s commitment to help more people who are unbanked gain access to affordable, mainstream bank accounts.
Prior to joining CSBB, Michael was head of the Wealth & Investment
Management (WIM) Investment Contact Center (ICC), where he oversaw
contact center operations in four U.S. locations and Manila, Philippines.
Michael joined Wells Fargo in 1990 and has supported its contact centers since 1994. Prior to moving to WIM in 2016, Michael managed contact center
operations for wholesale/treasury services, digital/mobile, premier banking,
military banking, and home equity.
Michael graduated from the CBA graduate school of retail banking at Furman
University and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
Currently, Michael serves on the board of directors for United Way of Greater Charlotte. He previously served on the boards of Crisis Assistance Ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the YMCA in Roanoke, Virginia. He was also a United Way loan executive and member of the South Carolina Association of Urban Bankers.
