Martin Vallen

Martin Vallen is the director of Financial Health Programs with BECU. He’s been with BECU for nearly six years and in the credit union space for over 12 years—all with a strong focus and passion towards creating equitable access to banking and opportunities to achieve financial health and well-being for all. Vallen has been a key member in driving BECU’s commitment and focus on financial health as a core strategic objective. Amongst his key responsibilities at BECU is leading its internal Financial Health Council to identify and advocate for meaningful solutions to address the financial health needs and challenges of BECU’s members. His approach to this work is fundamentally rooted in the belief that the financial services sector plays a critical role in the pursuit of social and economic justice for all.
