
Lisette Orellana Engel
Lisette Orellana Engel serves as Director, Economic Policy Project for UnidosUS, the largest civil rights organization advocating for Latinos. With over 15 years in policy, Lisette has worked on local, state and national policies impacting marginalized communities, particularly families with young children, immigrants, and seniors. Her experience has been focused on pay equity, access to tax credits, and safety net supports for working families. Prior to UnidosUS Lisette was Vice President of Policy and Systems Change for Justice and Joy National Collaborative. Lisette holds a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies, and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore.
