Jonathan Jacob is the Head of Minority Depository Institutions & Strategic Client Partnerships within Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Investment Banking Diverse Segments business. This group focuses on building and deepening relationships with clients through an intentional focus on working with companies led by diverse principals and/or companies serving diverse communities.

Jonathan led the bank’s investments in Minority Depository Institutions in 2020-2021, with responsibilities including investment diligence/negotiation and the development of partnership opportunities with internal and external parties to complement equity investments.

He was previously a deal manager with Wells Fargo Corporate Development, which leads all strategic transaction activities for the company. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he spent 11 years at Bank of America with roles across Global Corporate Strategy and Financial Sponsors credit solutions. Jonathan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina with studies in Corporate Finance and Management Information Systems.
