
Jered Ulschmid
As the Manager of Business and Technology Operations for the Shared Services department, Jered is responsible for optimizing technology and workflows, enhancing data-driven reporting, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning to support the Financial Health Network’s mission. His work involves developing impactful dashboards, managing data systems, and implementing strategies that drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making. Jered is drawn to the Financial Health Network because it allows him to support a mission-driven organization focused on improving financial health for all, particularly for vulnerable populations.
Jered brings a wealth of experience from prior roles. At Shutterfly and Snapfish, he developed a central source for marketing data and automated daily data updates, significantly improving reporting efficiency. At Leica Biosystems, he led the development of cloud-based performance indicator tools, empowering teams with self-service analytics and improving data literacy across global stakeholders. During his service with the Peace Corps in Namibia, Jered taught Mathematics to grades 7-9 and spearheaded initiatives that improved educational outcomes. He also serves as the President of his HOA Board and has earned several certifications, including in data visualization and applied data science.
Jered holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Sustainability from Clark University, a Master of Science in Sociology with a sequence in Community and Economic Development from Illinois State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Philosophy from Minnesota State University of Moorhead.
