Jennifer Axelrod
Jennifer Axelrod is the associate vice president of learning and impact at The Chicago Community Trust, leading organizational and community-partner learning to strengthen data-driven decision making. She previously served at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, advancing evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes for high-risk youth across youth development, social-emotional learning, violence prevention, and well-being. Earlier, as Deputy Commissioner of Youth Services for the City of Chicago’s Department of Family and Support Services, she oversaw design and implementation of citywide youth programs and funding strategies. She holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Georgia and degrees from UNC–Chapel Hill and Williams College.
