
Hannah Calhoon
As Vice President of Innovation, Hannah leads the Financial Health Network’s efforts to directly support innovators focused on improving financial health for all. She believes innovation has a critical role to play in financial health, leveraging the Financial Health Network’s resources and partnerships to build a strong ecosystem that can identify, test, and scale high-impact solutions.
Hannah leads teams across the organization that guide the cultivation of promising ideas into proven financial health tools, connecting innovators with funding, expertise, and data-driven insights. Her work includes oversight of the Financial Solutions Lab, a 10-year initiative to foster innovations that improve the financial health of low- to moderate-income Americans and historically underserved communities.
Prior to joining the Financial Health Network, Hannah founded Blue Ridge Labs at the Robin Hood Foundation, the nation’s leading incubator for new technology ventures that meet the needs of low-income families. She also served as a project leader at Boston Consulting Group, collaborating with foundations, aid agencies, and multinational nonprofits to develop and launch new products in developing markets.
Hannah earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University. She served on the advisory board for IFH Lab – Canada’s leading financial health innovation nonprofit – and the Emerging Leaders Council for the Legal Services Corporation, which ensures all Americans have access to civil legal aid. In addition, Hannah participated in the Aspen Institute’s Working Group on Inclusive Innovation.
