Dean Karlan

Dean Karlan is a Professor of Economics and Finance at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and co-director of the Global Poverty Research Lab, Buffett Institute for Global Studies at Northwestern.

He is also the Founder and President of Innovations for Poverty Action and the author of several books. His most recent, The Goldilocks Challenge, focuses on how social organizations, whether for-profit or non-profit, can use good data strategies to measure impact, ensuring that they do good well.
