David Rothstein
David Rothstein is Senior Principal at the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, where he leads the national Bank On initiative. In this capacity, he coordinates staffing and funding to more than 100 Bank On coalitions, technical assistance to more than 400 financial institutions, and directs public policy related to financial inclusion. Previously, he served as Deputy Director for Resource Development and Public Affairs for Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland providing fund development and program and policy leadership. He also served as a research fellow for the New America Foundation in the asset building program and the Program Director and Senior Researcher for the Ohio CASH Coalition with Policy Matters Ohio. He has a BA in Political Science from John Carroll University and an MA from Kent State University where is ABD. Currently, he serves on the Consumer Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
