Daniel Beeby

Daniel Beeby is Co-Founder and CTO of Benefit Kitchen. He has worked in the education and social benefit worlds for more than two decades. With the development of the Benefit Kitchen platform, he created the first web app in the country targeted at low-income consumers. Benefit Kitchen’s work has focused on healthcare plans, providers, and CBOs. Dan’s previous career was in educational technology. He served as the Associate Director for Services at Columbia University’s Center for Teaching and Learning from 2000-2014 and as an educational technology specialist from 1997-2000 at Swarthmore College. Previously, Dan taught English at the Kaunas University of Technology in Siauliai Lithuania and German at Michigan State University. He holds a Master’s in Communications from Teachers College and a BA in Political Science, Economics, and German from Michigan State University.
