As Vice President of Financial Health in Global Philanthropy, Dan is responsible for developing strategy and deploying grant funding with the aim of improving consumer financial health. Specifically, he works to find, fund, and support organizations that empower consumers with greater access to credit, improved savings, and stronger protections, with a focus on protecting consumers from scams.

Before joining JPMorganChase, Dan was at NewSchools Venture Fund in organizational strategy and impact measurement roles, where he helped advance the efficacy of public sector education. Prior to NewSchools, Dan was Chief of Staff at Evidence Action where he supported the growth of multiple large-scale global health initiatives reaching millions of people. Dan began his career at McKinsey and Company, where he primarily served public sector and financial services clients.

Dan earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from the University of Michigan (which was not nearly as athletically successful while he attended). He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
