As Director of Content Strategy and Communications, Cat leverages storytelling to inform, influence, and inspire cross-sector leaders to build a more inclusive economy. She is passionate about the power of stories to advance our mission of improving financial health for all.
At the Financial Health Network, Cat leads cross-functional initiatives to deepen our role as the nation’s resource on all things financial health. She oversees thought leadership, executive communications, media relations, and multi-channel content strategy, reaching the hearts and minds of leaders with the power to shape financial lives. Cat’s priorities include driving awareness and adoption of the FinHealth Standards, the first framework to help businesses embed financial health into the core of their products and services.
An experienced strategic communicator, Cat previously led marketing for BlackRock’s Emergency Savings Initiative (ESI). Since its inception in 2020, ESI has helped households save more than $2 billion. She also worked on initiatives for JPMorgan Chase and Nasdaq Foundation as Commonwealth’s senior marketing program lead; built content platforms and communications programs for several venture capital-backed fintechs; and spent her early career as a journalist for Associated Press and other outlets.
Cat received her master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in English Literature from Stanford University.
