For the first nine years of the FinHealth Spend Research, the annual report focused on the interest and fees that underbanked and financially underserved consumers paid to access everyday financial services. As the Financial Health Network’s mission evolved to promote financial health for all, we expanded our research to encompass the total interest and fees paid by all Americans – while still highlighting important disparities among vulnerable populations.
