Shaheen Hasan serves as Senior Program Manager at Target Foundation, whose mission is to enable shared prosperity and economic opportunity for all communities. Her national portfolio invests in organizations, leaders and networks that are focused on equitably advancing the financial security and economic opportunity of low-income families and workers.

Prior to joining Target Foundation, she spent nearly fifteen years working to advance an inclusive economy for the most marginalized communities, through the lens of financial security and financial inclusion. She has held programmatic and research roles at a number of organizations, including at the Financial Health Network, Accion International, Commonwealth and the Clinton Global Initiative.

She holds a Masters in International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park.
