Donald Schwarz, MD, MPH, MBA, is senior vice president, Program, for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where he is working to promote a fair and just opportunity for health and well-being for all. Dr. Schwarz was formerly Deputy Mayor for Health and Opportunity and Health Commissioner for the City of Philadelphia, overseeing in addition to the Department of Public Health, the Departments of Human Services, Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services, and the Office of Supportive Housing. Before that, he was Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at Penn and CHOP, Deputy Physician-in Chief at CHOP, and first Chief of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine.
