Claire oversees BlackRock’s global philanthropic initiatives which include The BlackRock Foundation’s grantmaking as well as programs that empower employees to positively impact their communities. As a founding member of BlackRock’s strategic philanthropy in 2015, Claire has been involved in the development of BlackRock’s major philanthropic milestones, including the launch of the firm’s Emergency Savings Initiative in 2019. Prior to BlackRock, Claire was Managing Director at The Robin Hood Foundation where she oversaw major donor relations. Prior to working in philanthropy, Claire worked at Goldman Sachs and began her career at McKinsey & Co. Claire holds an MBA from Harvard and a B.S. in Economics with honors from Stanford University.
