
Bonnie Wallace
Bonnie Wallace leads Financial Health Philanthropy for the Wells Fargo Foundation, one of the largest corporate foundations in the U.S. Focused on strengthening historically marginalized communities, Wallace leverages Wells Fargo’s philanthropic investment to create pathways to economic advancement and generational wealth, driving and supporting strategies focused on fostering an inclusive economic future for all.
With 30 years in Financial Services, Wallace’s background includes diversified experience in strategy development, business development, product development, marketing, sales, operations management, process improvement, and training.
Wallace joined Wells Fargo in 2006 in Consumer Lending, working first to support the Student Segment and then moving to roles in Auto Lending. Prior to her current role as Head of Financial Health Philanthropy, Wallace served as Channel Manager for the Hands on Banking® program, an award-winning program that provides free financial education, tools and resources to children, teens, adults, seniors, military and entrepreneurs throughout the company’s national footprint. In this role, she worked to improve the financial capabilities of underserved and unbanked communities through strategic partnerships with nonprofit and government organizations.
Wallace is passionate about helping to advance the financial health of people that are most vulnerable, including those with low-income, immigrants, people of color, justice-impacted and seniors. She works to help individuals and families build financial resiliency and make their financial dreams a reality. Wallace currently serves on the Boards of the National Bankers Association Foundation and the National Jumpstart Coalition and is a member of the National Association of State Treasurer’s Corporate Affiliate Board.
